<image:caption>Worms need bedding (aka a carbon source). When you feed your worms, make sure you give them lots of bedding to snuggle in! Worms appreciate extra bedding to wiggle and snuggle in (or eat, whatever).</image:caption>

      <image:title>Articles - Worms aren’t hard to please - The Subpod</image:title>
<image:caption>From a super cool company in Australia, they created the Subpod. I ordered one as part of a kickstarter project because I liked the idea of having my bin buried but am too lazy to dig a huge hole, and I like having plantings around it. The grasses behind it will come back in the next few months and it will look awesome and no one will even know it’s a worm bin!</image:caption>

      <image:title>Articles - Worms aren’t hard to please - My Creation</image:title>
<image:caption>I built this one!!! I wanted a slightly different look than the Subpod, but love the idea. Let me know if you’d like to buy one of these and it can happen!</image:caption>

      <image:title>Articles - Worms aren’t hard to please - The Urban Worm Bag</image:title>
<image:caption>Very different, but super awesome! This bag doesn’t LOOK like it will hold a lot but… it’s like Mary Poppin’s carpet bag. I have no idea how it takes so many scraps, but it does and my worms are super happy. Also, there’s a great Facebook group for supporting Urban Worm Bag users!</image:caption>

      <image:title>Articles - Worms aren’t hard to please - Box o Wood</image:title>
<image:caption>This is, in fact, just a box made out of wood scraps. My dad made this one! I’d avoid anything pressure treated but otherwise… knock yourself out!</image:caption>

      <image:title>Articles - Worms aren’t hard to please - My Experiment</image:title>
<image:caption>I would NOT recommend this approach but figured I’d add it because it does illustrate that you really can use just about anything. I drilled holes in these two pails and buried them. They worked just fine; happy worms! I got the boards and end pieces from Home Depot… and now it’s just not nearly as pretty as the other so life is limited for this bin. But if you like the look.. go for it!</image:caption>

      <image:title>Articles - Worms aren’t hard to please - Any ole tote</image:title>
<image:caption>Yep. Standard plastic bin. Lots of people use these inside (or a smaller one). Composting worms are more about surface area than depth so you’re going to be better off opting for a short bin with space. Didn’t even drill holes in this one though you certainly could!</image:caption>

      <image:title>Articles - Worms aren’t hard to please - Cutest Bin</image:title>
<image:caption>I have two of these and use them for experiments! If I were you, I’d grab a few, snag some worms and see if I like doing this whole worm thing at all and then go from there! If you don’t like it, just give it to some kid that like bugs!</image:caption>
